  1. i recently had two cars that came into the shop where i work one went 30000 miles between oilchanges and the other went 10000 miles both had blown motors

  2. when you dont change your oil the oil build up "builds up" a lot.

it can really damage your engine if not done accurately.

if you dont know how to change it dont attempt to.

take it to a mechanic and have them do it.

  3. If you don't put oil IN the car you'll throw a rod. When that happens you will have to buy a new engine (Expensive), or possibly a new car.

If you never change the oil you will have all kinds of white smoke coming out of your tailpipe and that cannot be stopped even if you get your oil changed after it happens.

  4. It could throw a rod. Then it's time to get a new engine, or at least a new block.

  5. the oil looses it's ability to lubricate the motor over time. It will become thick and sludge like. At some point it will no longer be able to circulate and the engine will seize. Once that happens it's destroyed and will need to be totally rebuilt.

Change you oil. It's cheap. Do it every 5000 or 6000 miles. ( ~9500 Kilometers)

  6. The short answer is the oil turns to sludge, won't flow thru the engine as it's supposed to, engine blows.

Oil is the blood of your engine, imagine your blood getting so thick with impurities because your kidneys (aka oil filter) are full of gunk and have quit filtering. Since it can't flow as designed, well, you don't really need blood to your hands, feet and brain, you know all the smaller passages. Just as long as your heart can beat you'll stay alive, right? Well what happens when there's so much buildup that your heart (aka car's oil pump) quits?

So if you have money to buy new cars every time you blow up an engine due to not changing the oil, then don't worry about.

  7. The oil eventually breaks down and gets dirty, which causes it to be unable to do it's job. Check your oil, if it is black, change it. But if it is still clear looking, it should be fine. Always use the same brand and thickness of oil in your car, don't mix them.

  8. lack of changing oil is bad mostly because your oil level will be going down the older it gets. very low oil levels can cause serious damage to the engine so its a good idea to change it, or at least top it off.

  9. if you don't change your oil you will luse your engine.

  10. duh,,,oil gets full of dirt,,acid,,,gas,,water,,.....yes its tougher on engine

  11. The oil gets all dark and black and looses it ability to lubricate so your engine will breakdown
