In Ontario, Canada it is required that a used car be registered with six days of purchase. I have gone a week over due to not being able to find insurance, what is the penalty?

  2. I live in jersey and the dealer usually deal with that when you buy a use car.

  3. you'll probably get a ticket for having an unregistered car if you get stopped.  They may impound it too as well as give you a ticket for not having insurance.

If you're not driving it, there may be a late fee when you do register it.  It's normally not expensive.
