What happens if you don't send colleges rejection letters?

I have finally made my decision to attend St Johns University. Now, does this mean I have to write a personal rejection letter to each college that I applied and was accepted to? Furthermore, what happens if I don't send them a letter of rejection?

Just contact them via phone. If you don't they might just assume you're no longer interested or they'll contact you to make sure.
