  1. You might be able to donate again after 54 days, but I would call the blood bank just to make sure.  You are supposed to wait 56 days to give your body time to replace all of the red blood cells, platlets, and other components of blood that are removed when you donate.  The water volume is replaced within about 24-48 hours, but it takes your body longer to manufacture these other components.

  2. If you are only two days away, and you are healthy, and not anemic or anything, they probably will let you donate.

    But you should tell them.

But good for you for donating!

  3. Follow the American Red Cross guidelines for how frequently any one can donate blood. My brother didn't know he was supposed to wait, and donated blood two weeks in a row. He was very weak, pale, and unhealthy all winter long. Takes a long time for the body to replace donated blood.
