  1. I borrowed mine from one of last year's graduates.

  2. I think in the long run they would probably give you one if it was a problem of money only.  More importantly, wouldn't you feel worthless walking to receive something you worked so hard for but failed to appreciate it enough to fully participate and be a team player regarding the ceremony?

Moral: go ahead and get one, ask grandparents, or parents, or boyfriend/girlfriend.  You can do it!

  3. Most schools will not allow you to walk wihtout the cap and gown.  Its one of those money making scams that keeps them in business.  Sounds like sarcasm, but its true.

If you don't go to the ceremony you can pick up your diploma at the main office.

You might be able to find some used ones if you list an ad in the area.  There's bound to be some graduates that want to get rid of theirs.

    Good Luck

  4. Then you don't show up without a cap and gown. What more can you do? Tell them you were broke.

  5. not sure, but you should be able to rent one which is a bit cheaper.
