What happens if you forget to put in a literary element in the task 4 on the regents?

I was using irony but I forgot to actually write out the word irony in the essay

Sometimes you don't have to include what it called.  If you describe irony instead of using the word, you might get credit.  However, the raters can only give you a score of 3 if they think that you didn't include a literary element.  It might depend on your grader.
