What happens if you forget to turn your oven off at 425 for the day?

I have an electric stove so I'm assuming the oven is as well...I have pets in the apt., should I be worried?!

Well, you will use a lot of electricity.  Did you leave anything in the oven because that might cause a problem.  However, I have left mine on accidently overnight, and it was okay the next morning.  If there is someone you could get to go turn it off, then that might be the best thing to do.

Yes I would be worried.  You could start a fire.  Turn if off right away/emergency.

hey, it may be ok, everything MAY be ok.  but fires aren't that hard to start.  and you are sure gonna feel guilty when one does.  i would atleast go turn it off on your lunch break

Oh dear, you are going to hate your electric bill.  I would be worried.  Can you call the landlord or management co and have them turn it off, if you cannot get there to do it?  This is dangerous.
