What happens if you get a flat tire in a rental?

The service to put the spare on is free but in the odd case a rental company may not cover the cost of repairing the flat tire, if you don't have the optional insurance.

I doubt any of the larger companies will charge you though. Little companies can't afford to eat that cost so likely would charge you for the cost of repair.

Most have road service for their vehicles. On your rental contract, there should be a phone number for emergency service.
