  1. This answer is simply my opinion and NOT to be taken as legal advice or as a legal determination since I am NOT an attorney! If I my memory serves me correctly, if you are driving an automobile in the state of Florida you MUST have a licensed adult driver present and in the passenger seat sitting NEXT TO YOU. The adult driver MUST inform you of your driving status (eg. if you are speeding, wreckless, or any other infraction or bad driving technique you are engaged in at the time).Your punishment would be determined by a judge in the jurisdiction in which the infraction occurred and by the statutes provided for by state and/or municipal law. You could receive a fine, suspension of driving privilidges, revocation of your learners permit or all of the above depending on what the judge feels is appropriate under the circumstances and the statutes which are provided under law for such an offense. If you are driving a motorized cycle (which can not be over 5 brake horsepower or an engine over 50 cc's in displacement) the same holds true ( you are allowed to opperate a vehicle of this type without an adult driver present as long as you have a motorcycle endorsement on your learners permit). You could even be sentenced to some time in a juvenile facility and/or community service time if the judge so desires to adjudicate your case in such fashion. In essence, it is pretty much up to the judge as to "what happens if you are given a ticket for speeding in the state of Florida with a drivers learning permit". I hope this answers your question correctly (since I'm NOT an attorney) and makes you think about your driving habits.
