Pray, pray hard.  Admit your faults and do NOT try to spin the story into something else -- just stay with the facts.  Keep it simple and you'll get through it.

They will run your information and ask to see your insurance information.  You will report it to your insurance company and they will pay for the damages.  Since it involves a police car, likely the shift supervisor will be called to do the accident report, which you should get a copy of when it's ready.
