What happens if you have s*x during menstrual cycle?

A few days ago, my friend got wasted and had s*x with some guy while she was on her period....

she says it's alright, but I'm worried about it.

So, what are the consequences?

Well there's the obvious problems of pregnancy/ STD's if she didn't use protection. And YES you can get pregnant on your period if you ovulate at that time, and some women do.

other than that, it's just rather messy and disgusting I would imagine.

There is absolutely no increase of risks when having s*x during periods. Normally, there is also no risk for pregnancy, when the woman has a regular cycle, however, this is not always the case. The only thing is that it can get messy, but if that is no problem for them, there is nothing to worry about.

Besides, it is not even that strange to have s*x during the periods. Due to the hormonal changes during periods, most women are very easily aroused, and horny all the time during their periods.

There are no health consequences to having s*x during your period.  Lots of people enjoy it.

However, I hope she used a condom.  It is possible to get pregnant or get an STI from any unprotected s*x.
