  1. You will be charged and tried for the crime, the same as if you were not already an inmate.  If convicted for the crime, the sentence will be added on to the current length of your incarceration.  That's NY law, mind you.  Check YOUR state government.

  2. It's a separate crime from whatever you are already in jail for.  You would be tried for it and whatever sentence you received would most likely be added on to the time you are already serving.

  3. No different than someone outside of jail who kills.  You get tried, and if convicted, you get a further sentence tacked on your current time.

  4. You'll get charge and add on to more jail time.  So if you're doing 5 yrs for drugs charge, now you'll be doing life for murder.

  5. if that happens you'll stay in jail for like 3 years longer.if you keep killing someone they'll kill you

  6. Every country and every state is different.  In my state, a first-degree murder by one under a sentence of imprisonment is a capital crime and the jury can choose between the death penalty and life without possibility of parole.

  7. You will be tried for Murder.

  8. You will be charged with Murder, or man slaughter, or if you were acting in self defense you could be charged with involuntary manslaughter, on any of them you will stand trial and depending on the charge if convicted you could face additional prison time or even the death penalty if convicted of 1st degree murder.~
