What happens if you let yourself get swept by a wave at the beach?

I did it once and I did a flip in the water, got salt water up my nose, in my mouth, in my eyes, etc.

Not painful, just unpleasant.

You shouldn't get swept away or anything, unless you're a weak swimmer.
