  1. Mostly nothing.

It really depends on what the fuel is and what the acid is and how concentrated it is.

A candle is fuel, vinigar is an acid, dip the candle in a glass of viniger.

Wait 2 minutes, look to see if anything happening. Wait another 2 minutes, stand back and.......

then go and take your candle out of the glass dry it in the sun and dispose of the viniger. The candle should be ok to use for its intended purpose.

On the other hand put about 5ml of concentrated sulphuric acid (98%) into a beaker and add a teaspoon of dry sugar. (wear eye protection/gloves). Beware!  Sugar is also a fuel.

But in this case it is the dehydrating and oxidizing effect of the sulphuric acid that is driving the reaction rather than its acidity. 98% H2SO4 is actually not as 'acid' as 32% H2SO4, yet put sugar into battery acid 32%H2SO4 and not much happens.

Be extra careful washing the acid away after. And have fun cleaning the mess!

Mix a suitable acid into hydro carbons (fuel) under the right conditions and you make detergents.

  2. You get flaccid?

  3. Please don't try this............

  4. fuel is a word for many of things, you can use wood to fuel a fire, so if you put acid on wood it might burn a hole in it, depending on the strength of the acid. Try it and find out, let us know the results!

  5. Your mechanic laughs all the way to the bank

  6. You make a "f**t"?  LOLOLOL

Sorry, I just had to. I have no idea what happens, but it sure sounds dangerous.

  7. KABOOOOOM!!!
