Assuming the battery will fit, it should work just fine - you may actually gain some battery longevity.

A CR1616 and CR1620 are both 3 volt cells.  The only differences are the thickness (a CR1620 is 2.00mm thick, and the CR1616 is 1.6mm thick), weight (negligible), and the nominal capacity (a CR1620 should have slightly more load capacity than a CR1616).
