  1. if i do that mine stick to my eyes and then i have to find a ways to get them out and i have to leave them out for like 12 hours otherwise my eyes burn!  always take them out if you do happen to fall asleep in them it shouldn't damage your eyes if it happens only once in a while but don't make it a habit to sleep in them

  2. You should really take them out.  Your eyes need to have a rest from the contacts wearing them to sleep can cause a lot of problems.  My doctor said that your eyes actually need to have air and by wearing the contacts like that it cut off air supply.  So I would try to remember to take them out because they need to be cleaned on a daily basis as well.

  3. Well my sister did that a couple of times and she got a permanent scratch on her eye. When my sister did that she had to go straight to the eye doctor. The eye doctor had my sister put these drops in her eyes. Her eye would ich so bad, but she couldn't scratch her eye bc it would make it worse! That was one of the worst times of her life. It was about 8 years ago, and she still has a scratch on her eye!!

Dont do it many times and this wont happen to you!

  4. One time won't hurt you..but if you do this for a long period of time every night then you could damage your eyes. I used to never take mine out and i went to the eye doctor and i had little microscopic red bumps where the outline of the contacts were..Lets just say i never not take out my contacts at night anymore!

  5. That one time is okay but continuation of this will definitely result in damage. Every night you should take them out and put them in contact lense solution and let them sit overnight and put them on in the morning when you wake up. If you keep sleeping in them their going to dry up and when you blink it's going to hurt bad and the next time you go to the doctor there could be serious issues with your eyes.
