What happens if you take plan b and your not pregnant?

IM NOT SURE IF SHES PREGNANT OR NOT. SHE CANT GET PREGNANT RIGHT NOW. IS IT SAFE TO JUST TAKE THE PILL JUST IN CASE... PLZ AND TY YOUR FOR EVERYONE THAT ANSWERS, IT HONESTLY MEANS A LOT RIGHT NOW

Plan B pill is specifically for this kind of situation. Its for a non pregnant person to not get pregnant.

I'm sure lots of women take that that aren't actually pregnant. Plan B is to prevent a pregnancy or stop one in the making, not necessarily to terminate one. kwim? In other words, you can take it whether you're pregnant or not b/c you have to take it with in 72 hours of intercourse and that's too soon to "confirm" a pregnancy.

that is what plan B is for. you take it BEFORE you get pregnant, within 72 hrs of unprotected s*x. if you are so worried about her getting pregnant, don't have s*x!

Did she take Plan B within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse? If so, there is an 89% chance that this pill will prevent pregnancy. Taken much longer after that, however, it will have little/no effect.

Plan B is NOT birth control!! She needs to be on birth control, if she isn't already.  If you used protection, then don't worry about it unless her period is late, and if that is the case, it's too late for the Plan B pill. The Plan B can't be good for your hormones...probably totally jack it up. GL!

Well, if you're not pregnant and you take the emergency contraceptive, then you're DEFINITELY not pregnant.

It has to be taken within 24 hours to be effective and it can make her very sick and bleed and stuff with her system the later it is the more danger to the bub of living and being marred. Please be nice to your chick. Im not sure why she 'cant have it right now', if this is just your preference. No time is ever convenient TRUST ME. But I hope the best comes out of this
