What happens if you touch a royal guard of buckingham palace?

can they subdue you or what? or do they still have to just stand there?

You can not touch them as they are inside the palace gates and the visitors entrance is on the other side. However you can see them through the gate at a distance.

They will not move no matter what you say or do. It is for some reason something that Americans seem enjoy trying.

You are not supposed to touch a guard. You can be fined,even arrested!The guards will react if something untowards(not appropriate) happens.And,there are other guards in the area as well(not all guards are on display)to act as back up.

I'd bet they would move eventually. They are human, after all.

I guess nothing would hapen. the guard would stand still, if it was not somenthing rather abusive.
