What happens if you use expired lube?

I noticed I have had a bottle of lube for a while now...and it expires this September...

  1. Everything falls off XD


  2. Probably nothing, but I would just buy another one..its not that expensive anyways. I think it just looses its effectiveness after the expiration date.
