  1. the ball that went in comes out plus another ball for the scratch

    and you lose your turn

  2. I play 9-Ball, if you skratch you loose your turn and the pocketed ball stays in... Then it becomes "Ball in hand" for your opponent... Exept if you are playing on the 9 ball, then you have to put the 9 ball back in the game and it's of course "Ball in hand" with an obvious victory of your opponent.

  3. You just lose your turn.  You don't take pocketed balls out.  If you made and scratched on the 8 ball you lose.  Keep rackn em up!

  4. i believe the ball does not count but is does mean scratch ball shoots from any spot

  5. In the game of 8-ball, if its a table with pockets, spot ball on

rack spot, but lose turn with scratch. I guess its the same

in 9-ball or game of rotation. If coin operated machine

where ball cannot be brought back, scratch means loss

    of turn.

  6. Marty got the 9 ball rule and krackle got the 8 ball rule. In 8 ball the ball stays down and your opponent gets it in "the kitchen" or behind the stripe in 9 ball the ball stays down and it's ball in hand anywhere on the table.

    * 8 ball ruling based on "straight in no slop rules" if using any other rules i.e. APA, BCA, ACS, or TAP then opponent gets ball in hand

P.S. the first guy who answered is a moron and i'd love to play him for his girlfriend's car one day, cause the lord knows he gambled his own away long ago

  7. you dont get it and you loose the ball

  8. Marty beat me to this one he's right
