What happens in the sims 2 bon voyage if your sims don't pay their bills because they are on vacation?

this is an emergency because i do not know if i should cancel my sims vacation!

dont worry. going on vacation is like going to a community lot, the time pauses when your sims leave their house and continues when they get back. eg. if your sim leaves for vacation on monday 1pm and they leave the vacation lot on friday 3pm, when your sim get to his house the time will still be monday 1pm

If you are talking about their regular bills, don't worry.  Everything at the house stays exactly as it was when the sims left on vacation.  It's similar to going to any community lot and then coming back home again.  So, as long as the repo man isn't already on the way, you should be just fine.
