  1. Well, you do have to have one of the base games to be able to play it, but I'm going to assume that you do.

Your teens can go to college.  If they complete college, they get two more want slots so they will have six want slots instead of 4.  They also get one more lock to be able to lock a second want in place or use to lock a fear.

There are new careers that only the college graduates can receive.  I think it's four new careers, but I've been playing with University installed since it came out in early 2005, so I cannot really remember now if it's 4 or more.

You get new musical instruments.  You get two different types of guitars and a set of drums.  Your sims can do more than just practice, they can actually Perform musically and get tips for performing.  Oh, and if one sim starts playing a song (you choose what type of music they will play) then other sims can join in to form a band.  They get both fun and social from doing that and other sims really enjoy it as well.  Also, one of the new things your sim can do if you click directly on your sim is Freestyle and Freestyle for Tips -- it's fun to watch and it looks like they are rapping.  Other sims gather around them and they make friends easier when they do that.

It comes with new exercise equipment also.

There are lots of new wallpapers, floors, lighting fixtures, furniture included with this ep.  Also, lots of new hair and clothing styles.  Personally,  I don't like much of the walls, floors or furniture, but I do like a lot of the new hairstyles and clothing styles.

This ep adds cell phones, handheld video games and ipods.  It also adds something called a Bubble Blower and a Bonfire.

Your sims can become members of a Greek House, the Secret Society and Big Man/Woman on Campus.

It adds a machine where your sims can have plastic surgery to change their looks, a phone to be able to call the Grim Reaper to try to "buy" someone back from the dead, a Cowplant that can eat sims and then your sim can "milk" the cowplant to "drink" the dead sim and get more days added to their lifespan, a money counterfeiting machine, hacking their grades, throwing toga and sports parties.

It adds a new age called Young Adult in which they can woohoo and also become engaged, but they cannot try for baby or marry until they either graduate or drop out of college -- in which case they then turn into adults.

Some people find it really boring playing them through college.  Others really enjoy it.  I like it, but only once in a while.

Oh, and I almost forgot but because you can call the Grim Reaper with the phone, if you don't pay enough to bring back a sim that sim will come back as a zombie.  I only tried it once so I had forgotten about that part.
