Question:

What happens on this forum after September?

Do we have to listen to the rants of the premier team fans? Can we reconstruct the pre-season competition (what a no-brainer)? I suppose we can analyse the draft picks that fell our way - but what do we know about that? What about real sport - Athletics?

i think i will be talkin bout the draft...

  2. Everybody b*****s about how other teams coulda shoulda and woulda

  3. LOL like cutemum said it actually gets quite eventful.

  4. I was going to ask the same question!

What am I going to do without the Aussie Rules Section?

Haha, I think it will be good to have a break, and we'll all be back on next March!

  5. Every one goes into the cricket section to give the Indian a hard time...lol

  6. Y/A goes into a great void of depression, AFL is over and so is the point of coming on here. No more of Rompers great answers and insights.

  7. Mate

After September, we just listen to the Cats fans brag,

and the Pies fans going "sooky-la-la"..........LOL

No insult intended unless you are a Pies fans.

  8. I enjoy reading all the whining as the rugby league types try to think of a way to bad mouth footy.

Last year I asked about the draft, opinions on the fixture, anybody know about cheap flights to Melbourne (I have to get to Oz in 2009, six years since I have last been to the footy is tooooooooo long).

It is OK. I can talk about the footy all day, just like gridiron, ice hockey, baseball and basketball (but not the worthless NBA).

  9. Oh....you wouldn't dare get on here after September...The men turn into BITCHSS....It's a real Bitchh feast!!!!

  10. After September well that is the end of the year isn't it and time to get out the anti-depression pills for huge withdrawal symptoms.   It is also time for the slumber party for AFL fans which lasts until the joyous season begins around March 2009.

  11. Was wondering this myself - maybe venture onto the cricket site. Cricket itself may not be your thing but they have some doozy "fights" between the contributors that are pretty funny!!

At least the off season is only a few months long. Maybe we can play spot the Aussie Rules player misbehaving on their time off!!

  12. Theres always the NRL losers to keep us entertained and the usual trolls hanging around...

We do somethings discuss others things in this forum but the Q & A's usually get reported and deleted coz trolls and yaholes dont have a sense of humor..

  13. We all sit in a corner somewhere and, with desperation in our eyes, slowly rock back and forth mumbling "football....must watch football..."

  14. If last year is anything to go by you'll be amazed at the amount of love in this room.

The Rugby and Cricket fans seem to converge on this category and there is a fair amount of friendly banter.

A lively exchange of views and mutual encouragement will ensure that this category remains one of the jewels in the Yahoo Answers crown

  15. It gets real interesting as Cute Mum said it is on for young and old so you have to have a thick skin and a sense of humour to get through to summer.

  16. No, after September the section is very boring and there is no point even coming on the section then, there are occasional good questions about the draft and all that, but after September there isn't much excitement in the section

  17. **I can't imagine this section would get terribly exciting after the Grand Final, might have the odd question but could probably get by only looking at it every couple of days.**
