What happens?

when you don't hang up the phone for a long time? does it just make the buzzing sound forever. does it show up on the phone bill?

I got caught skipping today and the school usually calls at this time and I don't want it to ring so my dad picks it up. and turning off the ringer isn't an option, it shows up on our tv if some one is calling

um, well, the phone will eventually go to this message thing, that says "If You'd like to make a call, please hang up and try again" and then repeats, but you can leave it off for as long as you want.  And no, it does not show up on the bill.
