What happens to FEMA trailers? ?

I lived in a 3 bdrm.FEMA trailer for about 2 yrs. before we were forced to move out due to the formaldehyde level. I was told by one lady in the same situation that they told her to get all that she wanted out of the trailer because it would be trashed. I don't want to do this if this isn't true. Does anyone know for sure what happens to these trailers?

According to the report on NPR they are sitting, rotting away in a lot in Alabama or Arkansas (I can't remember which tho).  Yes, our tax dollars wasted again because they knew about the formaldehyde but never expected people to live in them for so dang long!
