THIS QUESTION HITS CLOSE TO HOME. MY FRIEND WENT THROUGH A SIMILAR SITUATION. HE WAS REPEATEDLY MOLESTED BY HIS TEN YEAR OLD BROTHER. HE WAS EIGHT. HIS FATHER WAS NO WHERE AROUND AND HIS MOM WAS A CRACK ADDICT. HIS OLDER BROTHER FORCED HIM TO SMOKE POT AND AS HE GREW UP DRUGS CONTROLLED HIS LIFE. NO ONE KNEW WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM. I MET HIM WHEN HE WAS SEVENTEEN AND RUNNING WILD IN THE STREETS. WE BECAME GOOD FRIENDS AND EVENTUALLY HE LEARNED TO TRUST. HE TOLD ME WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO HIM AND I  GOT HIM TO CONFRONT HIS BROTHER AND TELL HIS MOTHER WHAT HAD HAPPENED. SHE REFUSED TO BELIEVE IT HAPPENED. SHE NOW KNOWS THAT IT DID HAPPEN. BOTH OF THESE CHILDREN NEED TO BE TAKEN TO COUNSELING. THE YOUNGER ONE NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND THAT WHAT HIS BROTHER DID WAS WRONG. AND THAT IT WASN'T HIS FAULT THAT HIS BROTHER RAPED HIM. SMALLER CHILDREN USUALLY CAN'T FIGHT OFF THEIR OLDER SIBLINGS. HE NEEDS THE SUPPORT OF EVERYONE THAT LOVES HIM TO GET PASSED WHAT HIS BROTHER DID. AND HIS BROTHER NEEDS COUNSELING AND TO BE SEPARATED FROM HIM. AND IF HE IS A PREDATOR AT TEN HE WILL ALWAYS BE A PREDATOR AND SHOULD BE LABELED ONE SO EVERYONE WILL KNOW TO BE CAUTIOUS AROUND HIM.  MY HEART GOES OUT TO THIS EIGHT YEAR OLD. I HOPE HE CAN RECOVER FROM WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM. PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY.

would depend on the actions the parents chose to initiate. they could press charges, they could seek family counseling, they could do many things one for sure they should do is find out how the 10 yr old came up with ther idea of raping his lil bro anyway.

its wierd that the parents decide what needs to happen, when it is the parents that should be seriously investigated to find out why their 10yr old is so horribly dysfunctional
