What happens to a banana when you fry it

okay obviously i know what it looks like, but does it lose the nutrients and stuff.? or does it just get softer? if you fry it without oil or anything..

  1. That's how you make bananas Foster. Bananas don't have a whole lot of nutrients other than carbohydrates and potassium (which won't be affected) and frying it won't hurt the nutritive value that is there.

    Add dark brown sugar, butter, rum, and cinnamon, and serve over vanilla ice cream with walnuts.

    i fry bananas...they stay the same only grease filled and really tasty. slice them and put em on ice cream

  8. I had a fried banana on a school trip to Costa Rica. Actually, it was a fried plantain, which is similar. But it was sweet and really good with guacamole, and it didn't lose any nutrients.
