  1. A pinch hitter is sent in.  He has the same count.  If he strike out or makes an out in coults against the batter who was ejected.  If he get a walk or hit it is credited to the pinch hitter.

  2. They send in another batter off the bench to hit. The new batter gets the same count the ejected player left with.

  3. It's just like pinch hitting in the middle of an at-bat or if a guy got injured by swinging like some guys' oblique muscles.

  4. Just a pinch hitter comers in. I seen a spot already once where the batter wasn't ejected but he was inured during his swing. I think it was darrin Erstad broke his leg or ankle and they just brought in a pinch hitter with the same count.
