  1. The banks mainly look at the account numbers to credit the account with the funds that its being deposited to.

You may need to go to the bank and 'stop payment' on the cheque until you can get the right account number on there. They may charge a fee for this but it also may be a better option than if it were to credit the wrong account by mistake.

  2. Take your reciept into a bank branch and speak to a banker.  They will be able to research it, find the deposit and credit your account correctly.

  3. Each morning the my bank double checks every deposit.  If there is a problem tehy correct it. Call the bank and ask for the branch manager and explain what happened,it should easily be corrected.

  4. just go to the bank it doesnt matter if that person u accidentally deposited in used it they will have to refund you...its fairly simple just go down to the bank and explain to the teller what happened and you'll get the money or they will credit your account the money. :)
