With the Twilight series vampires, they're practically invincible, but what would happen if they were put into the vacuum of space?Would they implode? I can't figure it out.

  1. this would be a good question if vampires were real

  2. Their incisors would spontaneously ermplode.

  3. they would die

  4. They would toast on one side and freeze on the other.  It would not be a pretty sight.

  5. They'd probably just float around in space with all the space junk out there.

  6. Vampires don't exist. But the far more facinating question here is, what happens to anyone in space?

Well space is a vacuum, and both hot and cold at the same time. Generally, the air would be sucked out of your lungs and you wouldn't be able to breath, of course. The drop in pressure could cause damage to your lungs and eyes and other pressure sensitive parts of your body, the saliva would boil out of your mouth, though not because it's hot, and you would possibly be exposed to dangerous levels of radiation. After you die of suffocation, your body will begin to freeze unless you are in the sun, at which point you'd get a very nasty sun burn.

  7. Vampires cannot stand sunlight. When on earth, they can come out during the night safely. But once they leave the earth's atmosphere, they are constantly exposed to sunlight and will therefore immediately die... not to mention that since they drink blood, that liquid will begin boiling at extremely low pressures and they will suffer from major pain... then they will also die due to lack of oxygen...

fun stuff - I'd advice vampires not to go into space without a properly equipped space ship (like Ghost Freak from Ben 10) :-)
