  1. In addition to the first answer, I think only the shell disolves, but it leaves the egg still in tact, as the membrane inside is not broken.

    So you end up with a see through egg.

    OK - The shell won't technically disolve, but the calcium within the shell will be removed from the shell structure. Thereby creating a clear membrane containing the egg white and yolk.

    I.e a see through egg.


  2. I assume the egg is in the shell. Nothing happens but if it in liquid form, it will change its structure as discussed in your biology classes

  3. the shell won't actually dissolve. it will be just softened like a rubber

  4. egg shall will dissolve due to reaction between HCL and CaCo3, it will produce few bubbles of CO2 as a product of reaction.
