What happens to animals during animal testing?

theres a thing called sensitive skin testing. so imagine your a guinea pig. your tied to a table. a section of your fur has been removed and perfume has been sprayed on. a bandage is put over it and left for 20 minutes. after 20 minutes the scientist adds more. after several amounts of perfume your skin begins to itch. being tied down you cant really itch it. the scientist adds more over and over again. the itching spreads through your whole body and the patch of skin where the perfume is starts to blister and ooze. your cries fall on deaf ears to the scientist. they are trained to ignore. the effects go through your whole body. your heart rate increases and you find it hard to breathe. eventually the scientist will kill you.

imagine your pet, whatever it may be, tied down onto a steel table. its paws cant move, neither its body or head. An intravenous tube is places into its head. a scientist walks in and injects a liquid into that tube. he waits a minute or so. imagine your animal start to twitch slowly at first but then spreading all over the body till its shaking uncontrollably. it starts to cry, ear splitting cries. the scientist does nothing. just sits and watches. your pet empties its bowel and bladder and is sick. it starts to fit. the cying never stops. the scientist then kills the animal

I read on a website that to measure severe burns on live tissue, an animal is burned alive with a flame thrower until the charred flesh can be removed in large pieces while the animal is still alive. And to study head trauma a pet's head is strapped down and the animal receives high impact blows to the head resulting in severe brain damage!! :( This makes me cry! What kind of sick person would do this to a poor helpless animal? I think we need to protest!
