What happens to animals?

when u take an animal or they bring an animal in to the pound or hospital if the animal dies or if it is dead when they bring it in what do they do with the animals body i`ve always wondered what happens to them

put into 'chicken' pies and Cornish pasties or cheap sausage rolls and 'pork' pies; general picnic food so humans can enjoy the animal again.

i did work experience a couple of years ago in the vets,

they had to put a few animals to sleep and they put them in a black bag (indivindualy) and put them in the freezer, the veterinarian then asks the owner if they want their pet buried or not, if not someone will pick the animals up and they incinerate them, im not too sure what they do with the ashes they either never said or i just cant remember

if the animal is to be buried, someone will pick them up and arrange the funeral basicly.
