What happens to birds in the wild that have splayed legs?

no actually, a pair of mourning doves made a nest, and both of the babies fell out. I noticed that both of them had splayed legs, and knew this was bad, so i took them in. Mocha's legs are fixed now, however Hershey's legs are taking a bit longer for some reason. Probably cuhz both of her legs were splayed.

  2. they don't generally get them because they don't have slippery surfaces....and they can learn to cope....but I doubt that they get them...
