What happens to bugs that fly into your eye?

You know..those bugs that fly into your eye when you're walking and you just blink a lot...where does it go?

  2. They either get squished and/or drown.

  3. They get squished to the corners of your eyes, where they can't irritate the sensitive tissue as much, and will eventually be flushed away by your tears.

  7. The moisture in your eyes acts as a lubricant so that when you blink, the bug is forced out of your eye. Since most bugs can't fly with wet wings, the bug will fall to the ground or end up on your face. Depending on what type of bug it is, it may or may not survive.

  12. I was riding a bike when I ran into a bug, which got stuck in my eye.  It was uncomfortable but not unbearable.  After an hour, it eventually came out in tiny pieces of leg, wing, etc.  eww.
