What happens to flowers that dont develop into fruits? How do they continue their life cycle?

Some flowers develop into fruits & are dispersed by seeds. How do flowering plants that dont develop into fruits get dispersed? Coz they dont have seeds do they?

  1. Some plants can reproduce vegetatively through specialized roots (called rhizomes) or stems.  Sometimes if a flower is in an unsuitable habitat (deep shade of a forest, for instance) it won't produce flowers.  These plants won't reproduce and depend on other individuals to reproduce in order to keep the species alive.
