What happens to foreign-owned companies based in the United States during war-time?

I work for the Ohio-based Honda auto plant. If the U.S. unexpectedly went to war with Japan what would be the immediate actions of our government concerning such a large and complicated company as Honda?

  1. The company's assets in the U.S would most probably be seized and its finances frozen.  


  2. Probably it would not be different when Pearl Harbor was bombed by the Japanese.
