What happens to frozen dinners that's been out in the sun?

My friend bought me one of those frozen dinner things and I wasn't home so he put it in front of my door. I didn't get back until like HOURS later. The weather was really sunny (Southern California) that day. I put it back into the freezer and I was wondering if it's still OK to eat.

  1. ewww.....save your self and dont eat it =]

  2. If it thawed before you put back in the fridge, I would recommend pitching it.  If you had eaten it right away, that might have been OK after nuking it.  Not too sure about it now though.

  3. as long as it was still cool when you put it back in the freezer, I'd say it's ok. if it got warm though I wouldn't eat it since bacteria could have spawned.

  4. It's probably spoiled after HOURS of sitting in the sunlight. I wouldn't eat it.

  5. i wouldn't.

  6. go for it! let us know how it turns out (ie if you get a deathly case of the runs lasting for weeks) now im sure its jus fine.
