....the clothes that you take to the clothing banks at supermarkets? Do thet get sorted and taken to charity shops? Recycled? I've always wondered what happens to my jeans!!

  1. Those past their best are picked up by factories and used as `shoddy`, whatever that is.


  2. I have a 'throw' upstairs that is made from shredded material. I use it on my sofa so that dirty doggy paws don't make a mess. It was given as a gift so i couldn't tell you where it came from.

  3. it is all recycled. it is sorted into groups such as ,saleable/reusable. suitable for rags and for strip and grind (pulp) for integration in other products like paper.

  5. They normally say on them what they're there for.

    The ones I've heard of are normally sent to under privileged countries such as some in Africa.
