I know cows and pigs are butchered and horses sometimes become glue and dog food, but what about sheep? Is it just their wool that they are auctioned off for?

  1. They become lambchops and sheepskin rugs.

That's also how we get lanolin and makeup.

    And dog and cat food.

    Nothing is wasted.

  3. some are slaughtered
