  1. AgNO3 is an unstable compound.even at room temperature,it gets reacted.thats y it is preserved in a black bottle.even its solution has to b kept in a dark bottle as its reaction starts in the presence of ordinary light.121oC is quite high temperature.however i m nt sure abt autoclave




  2. Silver nitrate is thermally quite unstable and breaks down on heating thus:

    2AgNO3 --> Ag + 2NO2 + O2

    I don't know exactly what temperature this reaction occurs at, but it won't be very high.  Autoclaving may well start the process.
