  1. Most cats are killed there. They adopt out whichever they can

Some are worse then others and have short stay periods before killing them.

Even alledged no kill shelters kill and it could be just cause a cat is too old to get adopted.

When you read these pages on yahoo answers, see if you can get by 1 page that isn't about kittens being born. Most of them will end up dead just for being born. Sad isn't it?

  2. If they have a foster available who can take care of bottle babies, they will send them to a foster home until they are old enough to be adopted out.  Or if they have a nursing mom, they may give them to her to take care of.  But if they don't have a foster who can bottle feed, or they don't have a nursing mom, they'll be euthanized on the spot.  Shelters cannot bottle feed babies this young.   They do not have the time, space, or resources to take care of cats or kittens that need care.  Sounds cruel, but what else are they to do?  I have been tempted to count the kittens that people post about here - must be hundreds it seems in just a couple of days.  And that is what the shelters deal with on a daily basis - tons of beautiful cats and kittens, no homes for them, and no space to keep them at the shelter.   Some shelters have euthanization duties on a daily basis this time of year.

  3. Hot dogs.

  4. well if the humans society has no cages they have to put them down (kill them) its like going to the vet and outting it to sleep.so yes they do get killed.and what they do there is put them in cages and try to sell them.my aunt just bought a dog from the human society for about 90 dollars that inclueds all its shots.hope this info helped good luck!

  5. They put them up for adoption, anfd they'll keep them there as long as they are healthy until somebody makes them a great home.

    :]

  6. Usually they dont kill the animal. Only if its ferrel of course they cant take a cat and have it adoped if its going to go crazy and scratch the new owner. They clean up the animal, treat them, groom them and make them look pretty and new, just give them an overall health check up, and put them through an evaluation to see if they are adoptable. If they are they go up for adoption to the best home. They make sure the animal goes to a good loving and caring home. They may also evaluate the person or the family whose interested in the animal to make sure that they are the right fit for the cat or dog.

  7. they help them i hope

  8. Typically, cats are available for adoption for a few days and are then euthanized if not adopted. If the kittens are really that young, then they'll probably receive special care for awhile before they are available for adoption.
