  1. Usually they just use them for other sports.

I'm assuming the Cube will be used for water polo, etc.. anything to do with swimming.  The Nest will be used for soccer.. any field sport.

Usually olympic cities will just try to then harvest national talent... so basically Beijing will be China's centre of summer olympic sport talent.  Those who will train for China's summer sports will train there 9 times out of 10 after these olympics because they have the best infrastructure for it.

  2. They'll use it to train for the next olympics or tear them down to rebuild housing for the homeless.

  3. Much of the Olympic area in Beijing is being taken apart and moved so they can redevelop the land into housing again.

  4. juniors soccer game!!!!

  5. It is said to be public stadiums ( either charge or noncharge ).

  6. pro clubs usually take over the facility

  7. I believe the news has reported that some changes to some structures would occur, particularly the Birds Nest because it was designed for the Opening Ceremony all that extra stuff won't be needed when they begin its after Olympic use.

The building will remain though and be used for training and Chinese team competitions.

  8. It becomes a big flea market.
