What happens to the royal mail that has not been delivered due to the strikes?

It will be delivered after the strike like all other mail too. The very important things go by courier at all times.

I don`t have my mail delivered, I live too far away from the postal routes, so I have to collect it from a designated post office, usually once a fortnight. I wasn`t even aware that there had been a postal strike, that's` what happens if you don`t read a newspaper or watch T.V( you remain bliss fully ignorant of such mundane things, and lead a far less stress full life) !

it will get delivered eventually...... unless youve put  paper money in cards that is and then im afraid youll never get it-[ happened every time with me and family/friends for the past 2 years -and yes weve learned our lesson now.... swines

Well I received two letters on Wednesday (22/08/2007) that were posted and franked 18/07/2007 and a postcard from Sweden dated 11/07/2007. If you are expecting something, keep waiting.

It piles up until they come off of striking and then gets delivered - I would hope.
