  2. when u extract oil at first from a new well the the initail pressure of the oil is enough to bring it to the surface. after that u have to pump high pressure water in to get more out. however even todays technology only all ows us to extract 50% of any well. so you have a "hole" filled with 50% water and 50% oil

  4. They get empty, like when aquifers get empty. The difference is that oil is not replenished, and gets used up more quickly than waters in an aquifer. After that, yeah, earthquakes, the land will collapse due to lack of support, causing lots of trouble for all of us.
