No,  your teeth do not rot,  they stay in the same condition they were in when you had them applied.   They are like a perfect tooth "shell" placed on the front side of your tooth.  When the dentist applies them to your teeth,  and airtight sealed is formed, and without air,  teeth cannot decay.

    Veneers are a great way to make your teeth look awesome.  Many movie stars and singers have them......they usually require no numbing,  and VERY little drilling.    They are a bit pricey though,  and insurance won't cover them,   but they will totally transform your smile to look straight and white.
