  1. Depends on which waste you are talking about..

Human waste goes into the main city sewer system and then it is turned into a sludge pit of great fertilizer.

Then the trash you recycle goes either to plastic plants, aluminum plants, glass, cardboard, etc and it all gets turned back into products...

Your clothes go to thrift stores and sometimes re-made clothes by talented artists..   The water you flush with these days is recycled into drinking water ...

Nothing is wasted.    Also, old baking oil is being used now for fuel for autos.

Old tires seem to make excellent roads that are very quiet and never wear out.

Everything should be able to be recycled and reused.

And anything that gets or leaks into the atmosphere needs to be stopped asap...

  2. It depends on the country your in and the kind of waste generated. For example, most liquid wastes from our drains go to septic tanks or treatment centers, but in other places, it usually drains away into rivers or other bodies of water. In some places where people live on stilt houses on the shore, human wastes (i.e. f***s/urine) go straight down to the sea. As for solid wastes, it can end up in recycling centers, landfills, or incinerators. It can also end up on the streets where it can clog up drains and cause flooding. So no one can really say where it would all end up... It depends on the people.
