  1. anemia

  2. along with everything else you could be cold a lot too.

  3. well I'm low on iron, and it just gives you a yellowish tinge to your skin, makes you look a little tired and sometimes your hair can fall out (but not that much) you can ask your doctor to check whether you are, and if you are he should prescribe some pills which boost your iron level.

  4. Iron deficiancy causing your red blood cell count to drop and causing your blood to thin. This causes Anemia, which has been explained. To combat it drink alot of juices and get proper vitamin intake.

  5. it means you are anemic. some of the side effects are being exhausted, bruising easily and having dark circles under your eyes. i have to take an iron supplement because i am anemic.

  6. My friend has just been told she has Iron Deficiency.. She totally looks lethargic, black rims round her eyes and she goes to sleep practically whilst she is talking to me.  Her iron blood count is 10.  No sure what the normal iron blood count is for a female.  She also has heavy periods which makes matters worse.

  7. My mom was low on iron about 6 months ago.  Her symptoms were that she couldn't seem to gain weight no matter how much she ate and her color totally left her.  She was very pale.  She didn't experience any pain, but she was a little more tired that usual.  However, she was so low that she was running on half the blood her body should have been running on!  She was a number 6 on the test and she was supposed to be a 12!  Your diet will also make a difference.  My mom's a vegan, which means that she doesn't have meat or dairy and so she was not suffering as much as someone who is on an unhealthy diet.  The doctor was asking her questions like "do you have blood in your stool"?  "Are you coughing up blood"?  I guess those were some symptoms of anemia.  She did notice however, that her monthly cycles were WAY off!!!!

If you are low on iron, the things I just mentioned are some side affects. So I hope this info helps!

  8. anaemia

A shortage of red blood cells, leading to pallor and shortness of breath, especially on exertion. Most commonly due to a dietary deficiency of iron, or excessive blood losses resulting in iron losses greater than can be met from the diet. Other dietary deficiencies can also result in anaemia, including deficiency of vitamin B12 or folic acid (megaloblastic anaemia), vitamin E (haemolytic anaemia), and rarely vitamin C or vitamin B6.

  9. It gives you Iron deficiency anaemia. iron is important for red blood cell production in the body. The body needs iron to make haemoglobin. Haemoglobin helps transfer oxygen from the lungs to your muscles and tissues. If the body does not have enough iron, all the cells in the body do not function well. See your doctor.
