Question:

What happens when I get a ticket on Deferred Disposition?

I'm sixteen, and I was granted Deferred Disposition by a Sugar Land (TX) court for my second speeding ticket. I'm within a month of finishing the probation, but I just got another ticket in La Marque. Is there any way to keep a license after this? I know everyone is thinking it's better to take the consequences of my actions, but my one and only passion is cars and if this means losing my license then I'm going to lose the car that I've been paying for for over a year now. Is there any kind of way of keeping the license? Anyone who can help, please please help me.

  1. Unless you can beat the second ticket, the court in the first ticket will hear about it and yes you will lose your license.

  2. Not a snowballs chance, bubba....you'll probably lose it till you're 18.

You should have considered your passion when you were violating the law.

Most people don't get three citations in their lifetime. You've done it in less than a year.
