  1. Yes to all. Bail is set, it can be revoked or increased if the court decides it is necessary. A good attorney can help in any situation. Of course, if the person is guilty there is little that can actually be done.  


  2. You do not provide enough information, screened for what? At what stage of the process are you in? Screened can mean that the prosecutor is deciding whether or not to issue a warrant, or many other things.  Yes, bail can be revoked, if someone is out on a personal recognizance bond and they violate the law, they can go to jail and have to pay money to leave.  If they violate bond, the amount can go up.  Or, they can be looking at whether a bond should even be issued.  For a serious offense, they may decide that the person may be too dangerous to release under any circumstances and not issue a bond amount, holding them until they are convicted or acquitted.
